Pinot Grigio Ramato
Friuli DOC
Là di Motte was founded in the 1970s in Motta di Livenza, between Veneto and Friuli. Specializing in native and international grape varieties, it enhances each variety in purity, rediscovering ancient flavors.
Enclosed in the name, La di Motte, a reference to the morphology of the soil in the places of origin, MOTTE is in fact a term used in toponymy to identify small elevations of the land and LA DI, which in Friulian dialect means a “house of,” an explicit invitation to enter the world of these wines, undisputed standard-bearers of a fine line.
La di Motte interprets wine as an approachable means of inclusion and transmission of values. Transversal across generations, it aims to be the highest expression of terroir and standard-bearer of an area, for centuries, devoted to viticulture.
Regions that have always been the home of iconic wines, the chosen appellations tribute the origin lands: Friuli DOC, with subzone Grave, and Trevenezie IGT.
The grapes come from Veneto, Friuli and the province of Trento, areas with a microclimate suitable for vines: a temperate climate, mitigated by the sea and Garda Lake, protected from northern winds by the Alps. Vineyards are well exposed and breezes ensure healthy grapes. Cold winters and summer temperature ranges favor interesting development of the fruit and aromatic precursors.
La di Motte embodies into the glass these historically rich areas.
