Pinot Grigio Ramato
Tasting
notes
“Blush” coloured, with reflexes between copper and onion peel colours. It comes with a complex bouquet, with scents of white peach, melon, with fruity blackberry notes, and an intriguing final taste of undergrowth flowers. This wine stands out for its rich, full taste, with a pleasant acidity and a long final red fruit taste and mineral sensations.
Food pairings
This wine goes amazingly well with starters and crustacean-based first course dishes. Excellent with fried fish too.
Serve at 8-10°C.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and crushed. Then, there follows a low-temperature (approximately 10°C) pre-fermentative maceration. The fermentation process is then carried out at 15-18°C, in stainless steel vats with temperature control system. Racking and pressing are performed for fermentation purposes. The wine is then aged for 3-6 months on fine lees.
Temperate and mild climate due to proximity to the sea, the Alpine range protects against cold winds from the north. Cold and wet winters, hot summers with average temperature ranges.
